Then when it rains, mainland people become superior. Afterall, they aren’t swimming to get out of their houses.
Also, can we talk about how islanders don’t even have clean tap water? What’s with that.
But then mainlanders have to wake up at 4am and leave home at 5am just to make it to work on the island at 8am. Kuku live in Ibadan since it’s the same commute.
But then they enjoy affordable rent. With 600,000 on the mainland, you can have a serviced condo.
With 600k on the island, you’re probably squatting with 6 other boys in the same room.
But then the island is where all the fun is at. Night life is undefeated and bragging rights are incomparable.
But do they have Iya Amala, White House and the seat of Government?
